  • Why should I use a studio for podcasting? Can't I just buy my own equipment?
Of course, you could, and many people do. However, many soon realize that podcasting involves more than just recording. The editing process can be overwhelming, and achieving high sound quality often proves challenging. This frustration leads many to give up after just a few attempts, leaving them with equipment worth only half of what they paid. If you look online, you’ll find countless listings of "podcast" gear from those who discovered it was too much work to manage alone. By using a professional studio, you can record an entire one-hour show and have it professionally edited for less than the cost of just one typical podcast microphone. This investment not only saves you time and stress but also ensures your podcast sounds its best from the start.
  • What does "Raw/Unedited" mean?
Raw or unedited files are the original recordings from your session, without any post-production work. This means no adjustments have been made to the audio or video, such as trimming, noise reduction, or syncing. You'll receive the files exactly as they were captured. All original unedited content is stored for a maximum of 30 days before it is deleted.
  • What does "Edited" mean?
Editing is the process of refining and enhancing your podcast recordings to ensure they sound and look professional. It involves cleaning up the raw audio and video files to remove distractions, polish the quality, and create a seamless final product tailored to your vision. Essentials Packages Essentials Audio: Includes noise reduction, volume leveling, basic cleanup (e.g., removing silences, filler words), and 1 free revision. Essentials Video: Features 3 HD cameras, basic show introduction animation with sound/music, real-time editing, and 1 free revision. Deluxe Packages Deluxe Audio: Offers advanced noise reduction, precision volume leveling, audio mastering, removal of complex imperfections, voiceover intro/outro, inserting client-requested audio drops, and 2 free revisions. Deluxe Video: Includes all features of Essentials Video plus custom show introduction animation, visual call-outs, lower third titles, color correction, and 2 free revisions. These options ensure your podcast meets professional standards and reflects your unique vision.
  • If I order edited audio and video, will I also receive the raw files?
Yes, you can receive your raw audio files along with any edited audio and video services you purchase, but you must request them. Typically, we deliver the edited files first. If you would like the unedited files as well, please let us know during your session or make the request anytime afterward. Please note that all original unedited content is stored for a maximum of 30 days before it is deleted.
  • How long are my files stored, and can I get copies of raw files or production elements?
We store all raw/unedited files and final edited material for up to 180 days. After this period, all files are permanently deleted. By default, only the edited files are delivered, but raw files and other materials are available upon request at no additional charge during the 180-day storage period. Long term production elements such as logos, intros, and voice-overs—whether provided by you or created by us—are retained as long as you book a recording session at least once every 90 days. If no sessions are booked within this timeframe, the elements will be permanently deleted after 90 days of inactivity. We recommend downloading and keeping backup copies of all materials to ensure ongoing access to your assets.
  • What is the delivery time for receiving my finished podcast?
Our standard turnaround time for production and delivery of your finished podcast is 5 business days, which is included in your session price. If you need faster delivery, we offer a RUSH turnaround option for a fee, delivering in 3 business days.
  • What should I prepare for my recording session?
We recommend bringing any scripts, notes, or materials you want to include in your recording. Feel free to arrive with ideas in mind, and our team will help guide you!
  • How long will my recording session last?
Standard sessions are 1 hour, with options to add more time or use the Podcast Split option for $25 to divide a 1-hour session into two 30-minute recordings (must be recorded same day). All sessions include a 10-minute setup period and conclude promptly after a 2-minute grace period for overtime.
  • What if I'm running late for my session?
We understand that delays can happen. Clients are expected to arrive on time for scheduled sessions, but we do provide a 5-minute grace period for late arrivals. If you arrive more than 5 minutes late, the session may need to be rescheduled, and a 10% no-show fee will apply. This fee must be paid before booking a new session or receiving any files. Please contact us as soon as possible if you anticipate being late.

We are unable to handle or operate personal equipment brought into the studio.
  • Can I have a caller or a Zoom guest join my podcast?
Yes, we can easily integrate a phone caller or Zoom guest into your podcast if provided with 24 hours' notice. Before your session, we’ll set up the necessary connections to ensure the caller’s audio is fed directly into your recording. You’ll be able to communicate clearly, hearing the caller through your headphones while they hear you through the studio microphones. With Zoom guests, you’ll also be able to view them on one of our large-screen TVs in the studio. This setup ensures a smooth and professional conversation that will be perfectly captured in your podcast.
  • How does the editing process work, and how many revisions are included?
We’re here to handle all your editing needs with professionalism and care! After your recording session, you'll have the opportunity to provide feedback for our editors to follow. We offer 1 complimentary revision for our Essentials Packages and 2 for our Deluxe Packages. If you're not completely satisfied with the final product. After that, any additional revisions will be charged at the editing rate of $100 per hour, with a 1-hour minimum. We encourage you to share your thoughts and ideas with us to achieve the best outcome for your podcast!
  • Can you edit footage recorded on my personal device?
Yes, we can edit footage from various devices you may use to record. However, the quality and compatibility will depend on the specific device you are using. While we strive to accommodate different formats, we cannot guarantee results from equipment other than our own. For the best outcomes, we recommend using our studio equipment.

Please let us know which guests will be recording with you and how many will be attending just to watch. While there’s no strict limit, we recommend keeping the guest count to a minimum for an optimal recording experience.
